Master server issues

I can’t remember who to contact about this.

But there seems to be major issues with people being unable to connect to play online.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t, would be nice if someone in Splash Damage could look into this.

Grateful for any help!

As far as I understand, that is an authentication server issue. I hardly think someone from SD checks this particular sub-forum. Why don’t you tweet to Splash Damage and Demonware?

This seems to be an intermittent issue. I wonder if any one managing the master servers still care at all…

Well, me neither… Who has an active Twitter account to inform Splash Damage and Demonware about recent master server and/or authentication server issues?

In age of… er-er… tapirs don’t have internet connection in your mancaves? Hwehweh! I am willing to have one even though I rarely play QW, anyhow I still care about that game after nothing can beat its features. Tell me whats the matter in exact and I gladly will forward it to whom is concerned about the ETQW auth servers (if already)

A message that contains;

  • The existence of small but dedicated playerbase.
  • Reoccurring unable to list online servers due to authentication server AND master server issues.
  • How unique, great and important ETQW is for the community.

UPDATE!

We’ve had a chat with the guys over there and they’ve confirmed they submitted a fix for it. Everything should be back to normal now. If not, just drop me a DM!

Yes! As I have just checked, connecting online services, server listing and connecting online servers work just fine. Thank you!

Yep I tested it during the saturday, and while I had a short “please wait”, it seems to be working again. Thank you.
