When you’re on a server and finish a game playing a merc that’s 2nd or 3rd in your squad, when the next game starts the 1st loadout card will be highlighted as your selected merc.
However, when you press Tab you’ll see you’re actually spawning as whichever merc you played last in the previous match.
This has been around for a very long time, but I regularly spawn with the wrong merc, thinking I’ll spawn as whoever is the first merc in my squad but instead getting the merc I played previous match.
