how to be able to tag a browning or mg to a custom scriptmover?

I am in the making of a new huey gunship for another etnam map…
on this I would like to be able to attach 2 guns, one on each side…
Is it enough to make tag_gun1 and tag_gun2 on model?

There is a tutorial on how to mount a MG to anything. Can send you but I think your suggestion with the two tags will work too. After you used attachtotag bla bla you need to move the MG in position using the faceangles command but then you should be fi e I think.

So the huey2 will pick up two soldiers which can while flying shoot with the MG? That would be totally awesome…

that was the idea yes, also will experiment with more tag_player inside to maybe not get player chrushed

This seems to be then a very nice new feature. You rember that I brought up earlier the idea to have also escortable trucks or other vehicle with a mounted MG. But the flying huey would beat this for sure. There is going to be an axis one too?

Hmm maybe I should do that… A vna captured huey that meets the other one in the air… Dogfight! That would be a first… @acqu are you still around and ready for some flying coop?
