Actually this is a the Semi-Auto bug that I have been talking about for a long time.
Generally there is a couple of hundred milliseconds forgiveness on a click for most first person shooters (including DB).
However in DB once you die a it sometimes bugs out and the forgiveness is removed.
This makes the mouse wheel so much better.
However once this bug is fixed (FINALLY!!!) it should not be an issue,
