Stopwatch Win/Loss Bug

(Szakalot) #1

So this happened to me twice recently.

One team accomplishes 1st objective on trainyard, and gets fullheld on second.

Next SW round the attacker’s accomplish the objective slower, but still win.

My theory?

If one team plants C4 before round ends (<00:50), it blows up during ‘mid-game’ menus and counts as an objective completed. Therefore, even though they have accomplished the previous objective slower, they’ve gone further in the obj completion pipeline, getting a win; when they should have gotten a loss.

That case should actually be a draw, since both teams were held at the second objective in the same time.

We’re yet to implement a ‘draw’ into the game flow though, and there are still a few bugs to fix with Stopwatch winning rules in general. These will come over time.

Still an issue. Personally, at least until you implement the concept of a draw, I think the team that completed the 1st obj faster should be the winner.

I had that happen yesterday :frowning:
We won although the other team did the 1st objective faster!!! How can that be??
(no team was able to do the 2nd objective. On Trainyard as well.)

Same here! We were plaing on trainyard. Each team managed to blow up one of the contaiers. Still we deld the first objective much longer. … and LOST

Best regards
