Game minimizes itself and won' t open

FIXED:
I’ m not exactly sure what the problem was, but I closed Adobe Creative Suite running in the background and after that the game launched perfectly fine… Guess a priority thing or something but to others with the problem I guess close random programs till the game launches :'D

So I had DB installed on a fresh windows as my old drive died. Then my Win7(64bit pro) updated to SP1 and all the other updates and now the game starts, splash screen loads, XIGN loads, I get a black screen as if it opens the game and it minimizes itself to the task bar. I click on the icon, get the black screen again as if it will open and it minimizes itself back to the taskbar again.

Tried:

  • Steam file validation, all files in order
  • Removed local files and reinstalled the game twice.
  • Installed on a different harddrive.

Anyone else had this problem, and if so whats the fix? I was able to play the cup yesterday, when I turned my PC off it updated windows and now the game simply doesn’t load properly anymore :frowning:
