Execution: HUD disappeared for good when starting new match

After a new match started (we have won the previous match), I wasn’t able to join the prematch, select the mercs and pre-spawn. Instead I was given a 3rd person view of the spawn. The match started and I was able to spawn but HUD was still missing. Also vchats and chats weren’t working. I could shoot and change weapons, though no xhair or health indication. Dying and respawning didn’t help. Only quitting to main menu and rejoining corrected this.

I have no idea what caused it.

There was no info overlay of any kind in my case.

  • no indication over player’s head (who was in my team and the enemy team)
  • no crosshair
  • no score
  • no nothing

…you get the idea. Just the 3D world around you but no other indication.

Must be the new Hardcore mode :slight_smile: joke

Yup, just had this also.

I might have been in the same game as Ashog, so maybe it’s server related.

But it also doesn’t affect everyone, I had Redtractor following me around telling me when I needed to heal. :smiley:

I’ve had the same thing twice recently, but in Objective and Stopwatch.
