Unicode characters only display in lobby

If your nick in game contains unicode characters (above 255) then they will display ok in the lobby, but in game will display as squares.

e.g.

ᴠιᴏΙᴀтᴏᴦ =

Some characters do display oddly enough including т

[AssortedStuff]

I’m surprised this issue is still around. It’s an old one.
