I just want to know if there will be an option to change your ingame name away from your Steam name. It would be nice if I could use a name that the old ET vets will recognize without having to change my Steam name.

maybe with new Steam account, but I don’t know if you can pick different Steam names for different Steam games, would be a Steam thing either way

Try change your steam nick to:
“Current Nick / W:ET nick”

This way new and old friends know who you are.

I have mine as Enef [@Njsfirth] as most people know me as Enef but a few people who i met on twitch and stuff know me as Njsfirth

Steam aliases are pretty easy to use, unless you’re wanting to smurf or just don’t want to change your current steam name? Just open friends list and open the drop down menu near your name and select change name. You can currently only set a clan tag in DB and I’m fairly sure the steam name will be tied to your in game name.
