“refresh” is the keyword …

Refresh does nothing. And it always pops up two dialogs for some reason.

If I remember correctly it has been mentioned that a spectator on the server takes 1 player slot (which I would consider as a bug), it might be what’s happening there.

I had that happen to me many times (before and after the Steam launch):

  • trying to join a server with 1 place still available and it prompts the server is full
  • I refresh the list, the same server continues to display 1 place available
  • try to join again, and again it tells me it’s full

It’s not spectators, more likely someone else in the process of connecting.

Thanks for the report guys, this is a known bug. It doesn’t seem to be related to spectators, nor does it seem to be related to someone joining a server. It’s just a bug that we need to hunt down and crush.
