'Forced' repairing

On Whitechapel when moving close to the ramp my merc would start repairing it; without me pressing F.
I was using Nader here.
(might not be map/merc dependent, but only had it happen to me once, yet)

are you firein you gun at this time? I have this sometimes if im inside repari area and fire my gun

No, I clearly remember that I was not firing. I was merely walking by and it would start repairing it.
