Just Another MOD
originally developed as a Jaymod clone and eventually replacement, this mod includes many new features and we hope it will be the next big thing in ET scene. It is privately developed by 3 coders since about 1 year

      Please note: only geniune ET 2.6b and official ET:Legacy 2.71 builds are supported.
      ET 2.55 or custom ET fork builds are NOT supported. all binaries are checked
      Please note: JAC can not work with punkbuster and may cause false positives by some Anti-virus since it hook itself into ET code and perform memory scanning ( we are working to reslove this problem and contacting AV vendors)
      the mod will be ready within 1 months so stay tuned

Is this check optional? How do you intend to keep up pace with new ET:Legacy binaries? 2.71 has been released recently, but the next version will be out soon, and all ET:L releases are going to be much more frequent in the future.

based on Etpub
Official etlegacy 2.71 binary builds are allowed. that means if you compile etlegacy by yourself and connect to JAC protected servers you will be kicked for unkwon ET build
same with ET2.60b ,only geniune binaries are allowed

Yes, I’ve understood what this mean. But you should really consider making this feature optional at least (as silent does). ET:Legacy clients have an auto-update feature, so all clients will break as soon as players update.

Thanks modifying jac to support N!tmod config files
N!tmod’s cvarlist.cfg (banned cvars) ,checksums.cfg(allowed checksums) and fcvars.cfg (forced cvars) are supported without modification
i think it’s ok now

And will be outdated really soon. Nitrox, what about we (ET:L team) provide a MD5sum whitelist for ET:L binaries that you automatically merge into your NxAC list?
We also thought about signing our own binaries with a pgp key, but that would probably require more work for mod developers.

the checksum can be disbaled
personally i think the most effective anticheat is a spectating admin and the in-game kick vote:tongue:
client side engine can be completely disabled and only enable the server-side prediction engine
prediction is effective against classic headshot only aimbots but for more advanced humanized bot it is more difficult
while client can spoof everything and send fake infos server prediction and a spectating admin are more trusted
