Random distrubances

I’m not sure when and why that started, but recently from time to time my HUD is getting ‘stuck’ and I can’t either:

  • change/fire my weapon
  • use F activation of whatever
  • use my abilities

One of these (or more at the same time) gets broken randomly and I need to selfkill to fix it. Doesn’t happen in other games so it’s not my keyboard/system/PC/whatever.

Hmm, that’s an odd one. Have you noticed it happening with a specific Merc, weapon or map?

All mercs, all maps, all weapons. Sometimes once a map, sometimes more. Completely random and rare.

What’s even more weird, once on Whitechapel all the mentioned hindrances affected me and additionally I became… invisible. I ran among our opponents and noone tried to kill me. I couldn’t do anything either. I apparently reappeared when I got hit accidentally. Didn’t know how to record that but I’ll try to show it next time it happens.

This normally is connected to CPU lag or ALT-Tabbing.

Never used alt+tab in-game and my new efficient CPU doesn’t lag.

Are you using wireless internet or bad internet?

And even if this issue is connected with anything like that, that’s still not what should happen. No game I’m playing atm does similar stuff.

Because unlike other games DB’s hud is not synced with the server. It means if it misses information it misses till the end.
Its why sometimes you do not see objective process move or the C4 will explode when on your screen it says 5 seconds left.
