Team Chat and Global Chat Keys

Binding Team Chat and Global Chat Keys in menu or in-game work fine however when you die they go back to default… Always pressing the wrong button!

Also why are the defaults different then RTCW, ET and I think ET:QW?

Weren’t Global “ALL” Chat “T”???
Team Chat “Y”?

Seems like a no brainier to me…

Check the CS:GO (or other older valve games chat keys, and you have your answer: Most other games use other keys than RTCW, ET or ETQW.

This is super annoying bug especially in gathers or comp type play…

I want my Chat keys like ET so:

T - ALL
Y - Team

But when I die it defaults - Global is Y and team is U or some crap…

Please FIX! :smiley:

Have you tried binding them as spec?

I can test it…

I would really like to bind the keys once and be done with it… In game menu or In game or somewhere and be done…

Yes, but the in game chat people miss from me due to this bug is more valuable than your in game chat - I win!
