With the latest release and you having had a chance to play, we’d like to know which of the current live maps are your favourites to play :slight_smile:

Hard Questions because we like parts of the maps or different versions of the maps because we have been playing so long. We also know that changes to the maps are coming and the poll should almost be which maps have the most potential and most potential to be your favorite.

If you put a final stage Doc run back to the church on Whitechapel and tweak the spawn layouts or the “Server Room” where the doc’s could be grabbed from then that is my favorite!

Or take the docs back to the RV and escort it back sort of like supply.

Dome, WC. Last obj of Alt-bridge would also be on the list.

Whitechapel, Terminal, Dome. But for me last obj on Bridge is the best in the game right now, although I didnt vote for it because first obj is so horrible…

Should have put pictures next to the names. I have been playing over 1.5 years and I dont have the map names memorized. That should tell you something…

I was going to do a breakdown but most maps come down to the same thing, which is that with an organised defence they should all be pretty much full-holds unless the teams are unbalanced. Options for attack are limited to brute force in most cases, rather than tactics or skill as most of the objectives seem to focus on a single small area i:e " Ok, everyone run here…let the spam commence!"

Dome and Bridge offer the best hope of an alternative to that, but on Dome especially, there needs to be some tweaking to the open areas or a passive defence can just sit back and crossfire the hell out of anyone showing their face.

Change doc run on White Chapel to steal 1 set of docs at end of map and run them back inside Chapel to secure = Gold.

Since coming back, ive only played certain maps either a few times, or havent got the chance to play them at all. (Bridge & Dome) There’s no outright standout but there are aspects of various maps that are pretty enjoyable.

I also think that some of the “issues” with certain maps arent so much the maps themselves but how players opt or willing to play them.

Can’t vote right now I lost my Alpha excitement and not playing no more …sorry
Still keeping an eye on the game tho…who knows…
Old full Trainyard, Old Full Bridge ,New Whitechapel…and classes :wink: was/is my favorite

Should really be this. Favourite objectives so far are:

Bridge - last objective (first one is a meat-grind / sniper hell) though defence are still way too close to the objective.
Terminal - both objectives pretty good now.
Underground - 1st objective can be fun but not keen on the second (fightin’ in the u-bend can be good but doesn’t usually last long).
Trainyard - not really keen on this tbh, the new cells objective has potential but would have preferred the map to be bigger instead (those Camden days…)
Whitechapel - first objective is usually quite good but very linear. Last objective is a bit better but still suffers from defence sitting on the objective syndrome.
Dome - this is where I’d like to see the game going - large open areas, multiple routes, trickjumps, side objectives, parallel objectives. Would be nice to have some variety other than C4 objectives though. A primary carry objective using the trick routes would be great.

Yes but I still don’t like the actual carrying mechanic, I suppose it’s definitiv now. The problem is most of the people don’t want to take it cause they can’t shoot, at least a pistol can be nice (One hand weapon only)

They can still shoot, you just right click the mouse, drop the objective, let the slaughter commence :slight_smile:

Dome is not bad, then …ummmm…(???) …(awkward silence)… the new version of Trainyard, I like it a bit. The rest is more or less awful, especially Whitechapel with the annoying MG and spawncamping.

Whitechapel has the most potential but it needs a serious rehaul. Different EV routes and a final objective that isn’t incredibly tame.
