Gotta like the trailer^^
Looks cool, shame about the name which sounds like it was chosen by one of the companies 12 year olds
Looks neat. Will have to see how far along it is when it hits Steam Early Access.
I’m more interested in the new Unreal Tournament though (multi-os, server binaries, moddable day-one.)
Should have gone for Extrakktion.
I might’ve been a little hasty with my previous comment. If they had a buy button at the end of the vid they might’ve made a sale… After mulling it over for a while I decided to wait for the new UT instead. Isn’t UT basically the same, but F2P & most likely better graphics?
Also the dev’s name is REAKKTOR for the people wondering about the name.
I’m gonna get one, cheapest access pack isn’t that much of a commitment in the fps wasteland we have today.
There will still be some time before a meaningful UT4 build (with actual gameplay) gets released.
Overall it seems we’re gonna see a wave of arcade shooters next year, I won’t complain.

And more polished in everything as well as including the community from square one.
The only thing Toxikk has to offer is a playerbase. One that thrives off the nostalgia for a few months and then it’s over.
What are your guys thoughts on this? http://toxikk.com/videos/
Gameplay wise it looks like what i’d hoped/expected DB’s to be. Fast, fluid, very PC. It had me at ‘no ironsights’

Pre-ordered the “godlike package” with some old Unreal-Mates last week
looks nice =)
but arena shooters are not what i want.
^ This. But its low price and looks very promising.
I must say I quite like the fact that everyone stands in equal ground (no better gear for longer playing players). Only one’s skill is what matters.
But like Kroko I’m not the target audience for this game.

I’m not massively into arena shooters either and am also not the target audience for this, but there are elements from these games that I do love. The fluid, fast pace, twitch aiming etc. It’s important people remember that this Quake influenced gameplay was every bit as key to making RTCW and ET great as were the classes and asymmetric objective play. It’s another area DB is currently lacking.
