I love this! I really want to see extreme asymmetry further in games.

Imo evolve is the biggest thing after titanfall

Agreed, this looks like a great game for LANs

Actually I’ve never been this certain about buying a game in advance for a very long time, probably since Wings of Liberty.

Everything about this concept is great. It’s such a beautiful expansion on the old ‘mutant’ game mode in UT2k4. It’s also reminiscent of Giants Citizen Kabuto and L4D2.

I even suggested SD to do a similar thing for their next game before I knew about DB. Imagine this game with 12 humans on one side and 3 monsters on the other and then objective gameplay.

Oh well, there’s still hope for whatever console trick they still have up their sleeve.

I’m not certain in the slightest, I don’t like that the monster side is third person and involves no teamwork which pretty much means I won’t play half the game, I also don’t know how they plan to implement match formats (one guy plays and the other three on his team watch?), I don’t want to be forced to play the monster, but I have a feeling it may be random who plays it, I love asynchronous team designs, but not asynchronous player counts.

Highest scorer gets to be the monster in the next round. Matches aren’t played in teams but FFA.
