Lots of .mdc files missing

(nukits) #1

Hi, little problem here, so i got into mapping again but when it comes to importing models then alot of them are missing. I am using GtkRadiant 1.4.0 on windows7. Few of them are there but pretty much 90% of folders are full of jpg/tga files but no mdc files where they should be…

Example:

Do you have Radiant installed closed to or at the base of your HDD, without spaces in the name?

e. g. C:\ETMap?

If not, Radiant doesn’t handle well long names with spaces.

Also the 1.4 installer installs for extra models which are not shipped with the game, so that should be OK

Edit: Looked at the screen, yeah, spaces and long name ^^’

So do i have to rename my ET mapping folder without spaces etc?

Well i reinstalled it to: C:\Users\brandon\Documents\ETMAP\Radiant but its still not working… No idea what to do.

If you have a SVN client, you can download the package from there:
http://svn.icculus.org/gtkradiant-gamepacks/ETPack/trunk/install/etmain/models/mapobjects/
