(YoshiChief) #2

Is this issue still occuring?

(Mustang) #3

Yes it still occurs, here is a related thread where I describe a possible cause and solution.

http://forums.warchest.com/showthread.php/35996-Download-error-in-launcher

(Volcano) #4

yeah i just had one then

(Humate) #5

If youve logged in to the launcher, and the then you’ve put your PC into sleep mode you will get this error upon waking your pc.
Im only 98.3456% sure though.

(Mustang) #6

I also use sleep mode so this could also be related.

(jRAD) #7

If you don’t have a network connection when the launcher periodically checks for updates, this is the message you’ll see. You can sign back in once your connection is back and everything will be fine.

(Mustang) #8

Going to quote myself here for the benefit of those that only have time to scan these forums.

(jRAD) #9

Eventually the online/offline flow will change, but this is how it works in the meantime/foreseeable future.

(jamiewalker) #10

I’m having a similar error however its the “local” manifest, cant get rid of it :frowning:

(jRAD) #11

That means part of your Content folder is corrupted (did you change or delete any of the files in there?)
If you delete <Install Folder>\Content and restart the Launcher it will create a new copy of the game for you. You shouldn’t have to re-download anything for it to do this.

(jamiewalker) #12

worked a treat! thank you

(jamiewalker) #13

Also, no I didn’t change any of the files.

(jRAD) #14

Glad to hear you’re back in the game. We’ll look into what could’ve happened and how to automatically cope with the error in the future.

(Wezelkrozum) #15

This issue still exists.
I just got the error message in the Multiplay USA Casual (OBJ) server.
