(radi) #1

Hello guys,
So I finally got the game up and running. I loaded into the waterloo map, then after a couple mins, it crashed. I had to kill it manually, then launched again. Went in to change my controls, then i got a BSOD. On bootup, my mouse wasnt working, had to unplug-replug. Here are a few specs on my pc:

CPU: Intel Core i7920
Motherboard: Asus P6t v2. deluxe
graphics: geforce gtx 580
Monitor: Sony CRT
memory: 32GB gskill
kb: steelseries 6g v2
mouse: steelseries sensei
Windows 7 64-bit

Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

It works for me, I have the same mainboard and videocard. Do you have the lastest Nvidia driver version 314.07?

(radi) #10

I have 310.90…

(radi) #11

thats the crysis 3 drivers tho…

(radi) #12

So installed the latest nvidia drivers and now I get crazy glitching/tearing…

(Paul) #13

Got the same CPU / About the same video card… no issues here.
Glichting/tearing can also be a sign of a not fully functioning video card. You should try some others games and see if the problem is the same there.

So, I uninstalled the game then reinstalled, and it seems to be working now. Not sure what the issue was, but no crashes yet, fingers crossed. Also, it seems that since the patch, fps is maxed out at 83.33. Not sure why that is.
