HUD of the week

This is the HUD layout I’m trialing at the moment.

Wondering if anyone else has a layout preference or has done any customising yet, if so please share your results.

Did try putting both ammo and health to similar place but it didn’t help much. Putting ammo back where it belongs made health bar a lot more noticeable mid-fight. Also tried moving the command map about but didn’t find a place where it would be both helpful and unobtrusive. Actually have one idea remaining and will prob post it tomorrow.
But for the moment, here’s the one i used last:

Tbh i like the way its done now(by default) …most things at bottom …need upper screen free of stuff …most actions will appear top of screen …lower screen is not blocking vision

Nice - is this easy to do? I must confess I’ve yet to use the map in game as I sit too close to the screen and it’s in the corner. Moving it to a more central position would be handy. Being able to customise the hud is a very cool addition btw. I used to spend hours tweaking the gui back in the WoW days.

How do you keep it “alive”? Seems like I have to “reinstall” it again everytime I close the launcher.

Did you change values in your config file or only execute commands through the console?

There are two config directories…
You can only change the configs in the “published” folder, or it will prompt you to re-download the game.
