Hi folks. I’m new here, and really wish I didn’t have to start off posting in the tech support forum. But, such is life. 
Anyways, I bought Brink back around the end of October or early November, and it worked the one and only time I played it, right after completing the install. I plum forgot about the game until yesterday, and discovered that it won’t start at all now.
I click the Play button in Steam, and the game loads up to that little window that pops up with the Bethesda and Splash Damage logo, then the game conks out. There’s no errors or anything, it just dies.
I’ve spent the past couple days following suggestions on the Steam and Bethesda forums, then tried anything new I found on this forum. Still no dice. I did roll back to the last supported Nvidia driver as mentioned in one of the threads on here (as my dxdiag shows), but still nothing.
I’ve verified the cache, tried deleting language files, let Windows fart around with compatibility settings, and then just completely reinstalled the game. Also tried disabling audio as mentioned in one of the threads, but still nothing.
