CRASH: Crash to Desktop while both in the weapons screen and joining a coop campaign

Alright, let’s begin!
First of all, I’ve bought and downloaded Brink through steam, right after i downloaded it i’ve run the game to see if it was everything alright, i had a character i dreated from a free weekend of Brink, but i deleted it and decided to start over. I’ve created another character lvl 1 and completely customized it. From clothes to weapons.

After a couple of weeks i went to play with my friends, i tried to join their coop campaing match, but whilst it was loading, the game crashed to desktop, without any waring or error messages, simply a CTD. After that i looked for some threads to fix the issue, one of them was enable the console and disable shadows (r_shadows 0), and that not only didn’t fixed the problem, that also screwed up another thing, the weapons screen…

Now every time i try to join a match it crashes and i can’t customize my weapons, so i can’t play online or single player…
I did several other tries to fix this problem, none of them worked, i tried the following:
-Disable shadows (r_shadows 0)
-Use AMD HotFix
-Deleted videos folder
-Verify integrity of game cache (through Steam)
-Defragment cache files (through Steam)
-Deleted ClientRegistry.blob
-Put Steam in the same language as my Windows (Portuguese BR) and English
-Disable Triple Buffering
-Disable Catalyst AI
-Pretty much everything else that in here (http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php/26190-CRASH-Cannot-even-start-then-game-(Steam-Validation-Failure)) EXCEPT for roll back my drivers and completely reinstall my machine…

So… Time for my specs right?

I’m REALLY annoyed trying to fix this issue, i’ve tried everything i’ve read so far and nothing worked. I’ve wasted two days trying to solve this with no results so far. Some help would be appreciated.

BTW, the Log was made when the game crashed in the weapons screen, i open the weapons screen, and whenever i click on a weapon to manage the attachment the weapons appears completely blue and the game crashes…

It worked. My computer is fine, without any problems, Brink run smoothly and the weapons screen no longer crashes, i haven’t tried to join a match yet but i think i’ll be ok now, at least the biggest issue have been solved.

Good to see at least one company solving issues instead of ignoring their customers :slight_smile:
