Server browser only showing a portion of the available servers.

Right now, according to http://store.steampowered.com/stats/, there are about 1400 people paying Brink (because of the free weekend). However in the server browser I only see a handful of populated servers. I have no filters on.

What gives? Are other people also experiencing this? Among the populated servers I can see 3 servers named [ngg]killhouse… and one named [io]… Besides those there are only a few others. I somehow doubt 1200/1400 people are playing private matches and I’ve had other issues with the server browser in the past.

according to steam there are 3500 people playing at this moment but I can only see around 400 people in a server. This can mean that people are playing in offline mode. Or not all the servers are listed on gametrackers.

Maybe people are playing in offline mode but I would be surprised as I thought the campaign mode defaults to a public game. Didn’t think that many people would go out of there way to play with bots…400/35000 is a tiny number for a multiplayer focused game…

Portion of the servers is good. Better than no servers at all, like in my case. Any idea how to fix this before the “free weekend” will turn into “brink-free weekend”?
