Valid starting map? Set gametype to 2?

While I wrote my last message GtkRadiant made a .bsp file.
I’ve just started ET, brought down the console and typed:
/sv_pure 0
\devmap treberg (the mapfile is called treberg.bsp)

Et then started to load the map but stoped with the following message:

map ‘treberg’ isn’t a valid campagin starting map. Set your gametype to 2 to load it directly

what does this mean?

type this

/sv_pure 0
/g_gametype 2
/devmap treburg

u need the /g_gametype 2

It means what it says, type /g_gametype 2 after the sv_pure bit.

Oki. Is this something that will be neglected when map is finished as a .pk3?

jep, when its in the .pk3 you can select it from the menu :wink:
