Visual glitch: Black weapons

Basically, all weapons are showing as pure black for me. The dynamic light when firing doesn’t seem to affect it either.

Probably fixed by updating your video drivers. If not, post a DxDiag and I’ll take a look.

Video drivers are up to date.

Found that it randomly happens; it seems to be a gamble but is determined at startup. Since it’s not too interfering (I can restart it for screenshots, really), I’ll live with it. :slight_smile:

It’s very odd that it only happens sometimes. I’d consider deleting and reinstalling Brink via Steam to see if perhaps something got corrupted somewhere.

Your save file will remain in the Steam Cloud and you can also keep a backup of the game saves in …\Steam\userdata#user#\22350\remote.
