Agents of Change DLC installation troubleshooting

The following steps should resolve issues affecting the Agents of Change downloadable content for Brink caused by bad downloads/installations. This is typified by users having access to the new abilities and customizations but not to the Lab and Founders Tower maps.

Steam

Verify integrity of game cache

[li]Open your Steam Games Library[/li][li]Right-click on Brink and select Properties[/li][li]Click on the Local Files tab and select Verify integrity of game cache[/li][li]The game will reacquire any files that are missing, corrupt or did not completely finish downloading[/li][li]Once the download has fully completed, start Brink[/li][/ol]

If the above does not resolve the issue, delete the following files and verify the game cache a second time.

[li]brink agents of change dlc.ncf located in [B]…\Steam\steamapps[/B][/li][li]zzzdlc000.sdmd2 located in …\Steam\steamapps\common\brink\base[/li][li]zzzdlc000.sdpk2 located in …\Steam\steamapps\common\brink\base[/li][li]zzzdlcenglish000.sdmd2 located in …\Steam\steamapps\common\brink\base[/li][li]zzzdlcenglish000.sdpk2 located in …\Steam\steamapps\common\brink\base[/li][/ul]
Note that for other languages, instead of deleting zzzdlcenglish000.sdmd2 and zzzdlcenglish000.sdpk2 you should delete the files relating to the given language. E.g. For the French version, delete zzzdlcfrench000.sdmd2 and zzzdlcfrench000.sdpk2.

If that doesn’t work, take the following steps to rename your Steam ClientRegistry.blob

Xbox 360

Delete and reacquire DLC game data

[li]On the Dashboard, acess My Xbox > System Settings > Memory > All Devices > Games[/li][li]Delete the game data for Brink (do not delete your save data)[/li][li]Ensure your 360 has an internet connection[/li][li]Log into your Xbox 360 LIVE account[/li][li]Access the Xbox Marketplace[/li][li]Redownload the Agents of Change downloadable content for Brink[/li][li]Once the download has fully completed, start Brink[/li][li]Log into an existing character[/li][/ol]

PlayStation® 3

Delete and reacquire DLC game data

[li]On the XMB, access the Game menu[/li][li]Delete the Game Data for Brink (do not delete your Save Data)[/li][li]Ensure your PS3 has an internet connection[/li][li]Log into your PlayStation® Network account[/li][li]Access the PlayStation® Store[/li][li]Redownload the Agents of Change downloadable content for Brink[/li][li]Once the download has fully completed, start Brink[/li][li]Log into an existing character[/li][/ol]
