    wine is a half-assed solution for server applications and feels like fighting the satan with the devil.
    btw. normaly servers are running without any x environment

    It works on wine, at least the guy who manages our root server got it to work pretty well. Occasionally there's a little lag, but nothing out of the ordinary.

    But he is still waiting for the linux files because he hates having to run the server in wine

    This How-To is just a "hint" to linux admins and their boxes which are a bit more confident with linux distros. Altough better than nothing...

    Anyway, linux binaries (dedicated) are still required!

    Another week and no Linux server files. Interest is fading within the community I play, since we can't run on our own server. To bad, the game was promising.

    Just took a look at Steam BRINK stats and it reports around 3k-3.5k current PC gamers
    Interested to know at what point you would draw the line and crossover to the definition of dying
    Contrasting that against Crysis 2 which is nearer 500 it seems like a fairly decent player count to me
