ATI User: crashes in 1-5 minutes of game play

I can play about 1-5 minutes of the game then it does a slight pause and the game will just close out without any error scripts. I have the most updated video drivers and have no fps problems like some of the other ATI users. No performance issues other than game just closes out on its own.

specs:
ATI Radeon HD 5570
AMD Phenom II X4 945 Processor 3.00 GHz
8 GB RAM
Win 7 64-bit professional

resolution: 1024 x 768

this is very frustrating and even occurs while playing solo missions, anyone else dealing with this?

Yeah, I was about to post this myself. I have an absolutely top of the line computer and it does this as well. I honestly think that the problem is Steam.

Steam games never boot up correctly for me. I have Dawn of War II and the ONLY way that’ll boot up is if I open the game the second my PC boots up. After that point, it will say that it can’t be opened. Brink is doing EXACTLY the same thing. Granted DOWII doesn’t crash on me, but this can’t be a coincidence.

If you check the Event Viewer’s Administrative Event is there an error for the game?
