Yo. So, I’m running a server right now, system monitor indicates that my CPU and Memory are idling at about 60% or so a piece (with other game servers as well). My system specs on the hosted server should be fine. However - the server is very, very laggy. I have a feeling that it’s low framerate on the server side.
Trying to find out 2 things, from maybe someone that’s smarter than me:
- How do I check server FPS via console?
- Is there a cvar that I can put in the command line to set a higher FPS? For example, on Source games you can add +maxfps 500 to your .bat launch file that will set the server-side FPS to 500.
