How to make transparent textures such as grid?

Hello.
how to make transparent textures such as a grid?
I do it in Photoshop using the alpha channel in the texture editor gtkradiant not only has a transparent black background. Do not see the transparency. how to make the texture to be transparent?
save in Targa TGA format.

I read this. Texture are not transparent but are black background. I can’t do it, in this article, is wirite any script but I don’t know where I must paste it.

A short tutorial for how to create a shader for your command map,
basically same you have todo for your transparent textures.
At best you ill work through the hole turotial, valuable info which save you headaches later.

edit: be sure to create a ‘plain text’ file, if you use wordpad or something else, it might make something else then plain text and the shader will not work, also be sure to that its extension is correct, else you end up with something like myshader.shader.txt …

thanks for this tutorials. I have a new problem. When I load my map show error that, map have wrong version should be 47 what can I do?
