@Fishy, once you understand the concept of blending it becomes quite
easy to start laying out some fancy organic’s and thanks to the alphamod
your not confined to the old style of aligning the brushwork to a grid, now
your free to place brushwork anywhere you feel like to get the look your
going for. socks site and tutorials cover this in good detail.

adding other things to make it less empty such as grass, picket fencing and
a rock here or there breaks up the look even more. tree’s are great obviously
for an organic feel, but more so for the shadows they cast. Just have to play
around with the look you want, and be very pleasantly surprised to see it
looks better than you thought it would when you try it in game.

i do recommend socks site for getting into a different style of blending.

i wouldnt know where to start with a tutorial on the subject, there’s lots to
cover and sock’s site pretty much covers it all better than i could.
