Will my computer be able to run Quake Wars?

Hey guys,

Im going to post my system specs, please tell me if i can run Quake Wars and if i can run it on High, medium or low.

VideoCard: ATI x800 pro

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 bit 3000+ 1.8 Ghz

RAM: 2 GIG of DDR RAM

My processor runs like a 2.8 Ghz just so you know. Ok well, tell me if i can run it and if so, can I run it on High, medium or low.

no i sugest upgrading to a ColecoVision… that has enough megahurtz to run this game… im running it right now off my Famicom but that has more megahurtz…

everybody doesn’t have such money to buy the best nvidia 8k series and new dual core, and RAM costs shitloads too(atleast here)(1gig kingston RAM=300$).

Nobody knows the requirements yet and nobody knows how heavy it is. Just pick a 2-2.5 year old mid-end system as recommend for ET:QW to play without serioues framedrops at a good resolution, still low graphics to make this possible tough is possible. But FPS is wat matters in FPS, right :slight_smile:

So this is what rec. should look like:

AMD K8 CPU/P4 3GHz >
1GB Ram
GeForce 6600/ATI Radeon X700.

dual core?..my quadcore arrives hopefully this week (out of stock everywhere at the moment) and will do the job fine since they talked about splitting the megatextures in threads so there will be a big performance jump with multicore cpu’s…
