Gamasutra Interview with Paul Wedgwood

(Prognar) #1

Hey, I see no one on the forums has mentioned this interview. Gamasutra did an interview with Paul ‘Locki’ Wedgwood entitled “Frags to Riches.”

It’s a pretty nice interview that isn’t the same stuff rehashed. It’s a very good read as well.

Pwned

Well, I was told to do this, so I did :stuck_out_tongue:

I heard the same defence in a famous trial back in the late 40ies…

So someone told you to do it eh???

A very old horrible joke I heard from a person younger than me.

If your friend Jack helped you off a horse, would you help him off a horse?

(Gringo) #8

Is it not, “would you help jack off a horse”?

Now that was un called for dude … how lame :bash:

Sd seems to have always liked to document and share the full game modding experience fairly well. Good to see (well i havent seen it until now) some more info(s) and insight for the collective fanfare.

No he’s just filling in the blanks mate, its signofzeta’s lame joke.

That is a very nice read. Well structured interview and text. And it gave a really good insight to modding and game-making on a higher/conceptual level.

nice article

Nice article, but I’m worried about the ‘banks of servers’ to create megatextures. Not sure my P4 2.4GHz, or my soon to come Dual core can handle the workload of a bank of servers…

(Prognar) #15

you won’t be compiling them

(kamikazee) #16

And what if you want a custom one?

(Prognar) #17

You’ll probably have to wait longer
